This is how we make Grandma Helen's FIVE-CHEESE Pepperoni Bread
Aunt Tricia's Cioccolato di Cassata Siciliana
Hey Everybody, let's go to Uncle Vito's!!
History of Uncle Vito's
My Uncle's name was Vito Colella. He was really my Grandma's cousin;
but since he was her age, we called him Uncle Vito.
Two houses down to the left was my Uncle Johnny Colella, my Grandma's brother.
Two houses down to the right was my Grandma & Pappy's house.
That's where Pappy taught me how to use a kitchen.
A few blocks away, another cousin, Willie Frank, made the homemade wines.
Willie's recipes & techniques are super top-secret.
So, saying anything further can be hazardous to my health.
If you know what I mean...
My Mom, Grandma Helen to most, is the Queen of the Pepperoni Breads.
She taught me how to make everything in our Stuffed Bread Product Line.
She also helped to inspire several of our other menu items.
I tweaked a few things in the pepperoni bread recipes because I do not eat pork
anymore. Also, I stole the 5-cheese blend idea from Cousin Tina. So, when I get homesick,
I get in the kitchen. I cook & make wine for you to enjoy, in remembrance of my family.
Thank you for choosing Uncle Vito's Sicilian Pastries & Wine!
Take care,
Daniel Joseph Mavero
